Tanabata

Tanabata celebrates the romantic story of two lovers, as represented by the stars Vega and Altair.

They are normally separated by the Milky Way, but are allowed to meet each other once a year on Tanabata.

Make a wish!

Nowadays it's common to make a wish and writie it down on Tanzakui in the hope your wish will come true when the two stars cross!

Tanabata, the Japanese Star Festival, is a captivating celebration that takes place on July 7th each year. Come in store and explore the essence of Tanabata by writing your own wishes on tanzaku and hanging them from our bamboo tree!

This year, we are also partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
