Kai Whetstone 400 1000 Grit

An easy-to-sharp, full-fledged whetstone conceived by kitchen knife manufacturers. To sharpen a knife in earnest, start with a rough whetstone, then gradually finish with a finer whetstone in the order of "rough whetstone" → "medium finish whetstone" → "finishing whetstone". This whetstone has two sides: a rough whetstone used for initial sharpening and a medium finish whetstone that can be used for finishing.
