ABSORBENCY REIMAGINED
Diatomite's porous nature gives it an exceptional ability to absorb moisture. Due to its large surface area and porosity, it's capable of absorbing up to 1.5 times its weight in water. This property is what allows a diatomite mat to dry quickly and remain odour-free.
ANTIBACTERIAL AND DEODORISING
Diatomite's absorptive power doesn't stop at water and bacteria. It can also absorb odours, acting as a natural deodoriser. It also traps bacteria, preventing their growth and spread, and when it dries, it effectively kills bacteria - making it an excellent antibacterial agent.
