The 18cm version of HOKUA's Kodengu yukihira-style saucepan offers a larger capacity of around 1.6 litres, while keeping the same wide, shallow shape and dual pouring lips that make this style of pan so easy to work with on a stovetop.
Like the smaller size, the body is hammered (tsuchime) and sulfuric-acid anodised for a warm golden finish, with a natural wood handle that stays cool during use. It is designed for gas cooktops only, and isn't suited to induction or electric elements.
