Part of the Sendan series, this noodle bowl is glazed using a kama-hen (kiln-transformation) technique, where the colour deepens and pools unevenly as it fires. The Navy colourway settles into a refined, deep shine that suits both everyday noodle dinners and a more considered table setting.
Beneath the glaze, a fine combed ridge texture gives the surface gentle dimension and catches the light as it is turned. Holding around 1.2 litres, it is sized for a full bowl of ramen or udon, and works equally well for salads or shared sides.
