Named for the mountain silhouette cut into its washi paper shade, this cocolan chochin lantern is made by Shiraki Kougei, a traditional Yame lantern workshop in Fukuoka. The paper is hand-made and stretched over a bamboo-spiral frame using techniques the region has practised for generations.
The lantern stands on a solid hard maple base and houses a built-in LED that projects the mountain motif softly through the paper when lit. It runs on batteries rather than mains power, so there is no cord to manage.

Easy Returns

Most definitely! Most of our parcels are shipped out via Auspost, unless oversized. We'll contact you if we're unable to send your order to your shipping address.

We offer free shipping for orders over $149 and a flat rate of $10 for under that amount. There's an additional charge for large or bulky items which will be calculated at checkout.
