This letter set from Furukawa Shiko's Today's Letter series is printed with a cat-and-mug motif, a small illustrated scene suited to a warm, everyday note. It includes four sheets of letterhead and two matching envelopes, enough for a short run of letters or thank-you notes.
The letterhead and outer envelope are made from Mino washi, the handmade paper associated with Gifu, with a plain paper lining inside the envelope. The compact, vertical envelope format suits a short, personal letter rather than a lengthy one.
