River Light

River Light Carbon Steel Woks & Frypans

River Light is one of Japan’s respected names in steel cookware, known for carbon steel woks and frypans designed for flavour, heat control and long-term everyday use. Founded from a belief that good cooking begins with good tools, River Light continued to champion iron and steel cookware during a time when non-stick pans were becoming the easier, more disposable choice.

Their Kiwame series uses specially heat-treated cold rolled steel, forming layers of iron nitride and iron oxide on the surface to improve rust resistance, strength and durability. These pans store plenty of heat, making them ideal for crisp stir-fries, aromatic searing and everyday Japanese, Asian and Western cooking. With regular use, the surface becomes more oil-friendly and naturally easier to cook with over time.

Minimaru is an authorised reseller of River Light kitchenware in Australia, offering genuine Japanese-made woks and frypans for home cooks who want responsive heat, reliable performance and cookware that gets better the more it is used.
