Hana-Mishima, Ginpo's long-running flagship model.The Hana-Mishima series of cookware is intended mainly for household use.
This version is compatible with IH stoves when used together with the included IH heating plate.
Please season the claypot with the instructions below before use:
1. Fill the clay pot with clean water (about 80% full), and bring the water to boil. When the water is boiling, lower the heat, put wheat flour mixed with water into the pot, and mix it well.
2. Simmer over a low heat for about five minutes, turn off the heat, and leave the pot as it is until it has cooled down.
3. Wash and clean the pot, then dry it before use.
Care and maintenace
After each use, please dry well and keep the claypot pot in a dry space to prevent mold or mildew. For the first 5 uses, please avoid leaving food and ingredients inside the pot after cooking. (This will help to season your pot for many years of use.) Please also avoid using curry, kimchi or similar seasoned foods for the first 5 times of use. (This will help to prevent discoloration and odors from lingering in the future.) Avoid soaking the earthen pot in detergent water. Wash and rinse only.
Compatible cooktops
Gas
Works on all standard gas stovetops. Direct flame delivers rapid, responsive heat — ideal for high-heat wok cooking, stir-frying, and traditional Japanese techniques that require quick temperature changes.
Ceramic
Safe for ceramic, glass, and halogen cooktops. Always lift rather than slide cookware to protect the surface, and avoid placing cold cookware onto a very hot plate.
Electric
Suitable for electric coil and solid hotplate cooktops. Allow the element to preheat fully before cooking for the most even heat transfer across the base.
Induction (IH)
Compatible with IH induction cooktops. Provides fast, precise, and energy-efficient heating. The magnetic base ensures even heat distribution across the cooking surface.

Easy Returns
Changed your mind? You're welcome to return most items within 14 days of delivery — just email support@minimaru.com and we'll walk you through it. Items need to be unused and in their original packaging with tags attached.

Most definitely! Most of our parcels are shipped out via Auspost, unless oversized. We'll contact you if we're unable to send your order to your shipping address.

We offer free shipping for orders over $149 and a flat rate of $10 for under that amount. There's an additional charge for large or bulky items which will be calculated at checkout.
